Please make use of the portal to join, renew or update your BMFA membership details
Existing and lapsed (up to 7 years) BMFA members are already registered on the system, others will first have to register.
Previously registered individuals access the portal for the first time by entering your email address and click ‘forgot password’.
As long as there is a current email address on record you should receive a password reset email which will give access to the portal.
If no email arrives email membership@bmfa.org from the email address you want to use with your name, membership number and postcode and the BMFA will send you a password reset email.
There are big advantages to be gained from properly registering on the portal as it allows you to directly access your BMFA record to ensure you are shown as a member of Shillito, renew using card or direct bank transfer, and print off your own membership certificate and card, saving stamps, envelopes, time and trouble
And I don’t have to take your BMFA cheque to the bank or chase you for a copy of your BMFA membership and insurance details! What’s not to like?
The portal not only streamlines the processes for renewing BMFA subscriptions, it also proves more efficient for distributing members BMFA documentation which can now be provided electronically therefore the BMFA will only be posting membership documents out by request.
From 2020 renewals onwards the BMFA are aiming for their membership process to be as ‘paperless’ as possible.
